The Jefferson County Communications Center Authority - known as Jeffcom - is the centralized call center for 911 calls in Jefferson County. We are consolidating eight (8) of the current Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) into one communications center to be able to provide better services to our community, better technology to allow us to do our jobs, and a more cohesive employee base. Still in the consolidation and remodeling phase, we are working hard to build our infrastructure and become an employer of choice. We anticipate going "live" to take calls in our new communications center in early 2018.
